Payment at the time of, or Prior to Receipt of Service Vs. Retroactive Payment Fee Schedules
Please Note: The fee schedule posted below applies only to services that are paid for at the day and time of, or prior to/in advance of the time when the service is received and not personal injury, automobile accident, general insurance, patient retroactive payments, or any other retroactively reimbursed insurance covered services. As compared to insurance, or retroactive payment fee schedules, we are able to offer in-advance and at-the-time-of paid services at a discount for several primary reasons including but not limited to the following:
With in-advance and at-the-time-of payments there is no delay in receiving timely payment for services rendered
In the case of payments made after care has been delivered and insurance billing, payments can be significantly delayed requiring, in some cases, ongoing or otherwise extensive correspondence in order to resolve delays or may require additional or extensive clinical, administrative or legal procedures in order to collect or receive reimbursement
It is not uncommon for payments made by insurance companies of all kinds to result in fee amount reductions or denial of payment altogether for a wide range of reasons which affects our cost of doing business
As a result of the above points regarding in-advance versus insurance (or patient retroactive) payment fee schedules, alternate fees, other than those posted below, are utilized for retroactive payments made by patients and insurance claims. Retroactive payment and Insurance fee schedules can be made available upon request. These have been our fee schedule policies since 1997.
The following fees and service options are subject to change at future periodic intervals and fee schedules will always display a date of revision indicated by “rev” (aka revised) indicating the current date of version revision.
